Tuesday, it was lunch out with a coworker. Since we all work from home, we started a tradition of going out to lunch once a week just to get out of the house. This week was Greek. Tomorrow will most likely be a stouffers.
(3/17) Visiting my BIL in FL so went out for lunch… Ate at The Lighthouse. We all shared an order of calamari, as well as onion rings then had a First Mate Melt (grilled fish with sauteed onions and remoulade on butter toasted bread with fries, very yummy) After, we watched the St Pat’s parade in the Villages.
(3/18) Headed to MCO for a 3pm flight so probably nothing for lunch.
A sandwich yesterday, a sandwich today both at work. I am too cheap to buy lunch most of the time and also only want to take the minimum time for lunch so I can leave earlier.
A Quest protein bar.
And just in case this is Meh’s way of researching what kind of about-to-expire food items to sell in the future I’m very unlikely to purchase them here if given the chance.
2 cheddar n sour cream pringles, about 1/2 a bite of an unpleasant jello salad (the rest went in the trash!) and a small slice of chocolate orange pie!
Goodness!! All of this healthy stuff you guys eat!
I had leftover pot roast with potatoes, onion, and carrots.
I do NOT feel guilty about it one bit! lol
@OnionSoup Congrats on taking the steps needed towards continuing health. Unfortunately too many people don’t pay attention to this very important procedure, or are weirded out, afraid, etc.
I’m finally out of physical therapy and back to moving furniture. Absolutely everything involving walking still winds me after a minute, but my calves are almost the same size again.
To celebrate I made a double cheeseburger with butternut fries.
Went and bought a half pound of the good ground chuck (80/20), a quarter pound of Gouda cheese, Hawaiian rolls, and a butternut squash. The (4) patties were mixed with cheese cubes, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme, basil, and cumin. The squash was quartered, the seeds scooped out, and seasoned with salt, bacon grease, and salt.
The meat was wrapped in parchment and pressure steamed alongside the squash on high for 10 minutes, then unwrapped, put on a grill, and sent to an air-fryer with the drippings. Another 10 minutes on high while the rolls are warming up in the residual heat of the steamer.
Peeled the squash and made steak-cut fries (should not have done that; the insides were mush and only the burnt exterior kept them together). This and a long shower (and a coma) eventually had me back on my feet. (Where I had the second half for lunch today.)
It was St Patrick’s day. My lunch consisted of Guinness and Jameson while watching the parade in Dogtown.
Today’s lunch? Reuben sandwich, of course!
Today, Wednesday the 18th? Work lunch. Super Mario SpaghettiOs and Baja Blast, bottled from Taco Bell last night.
Heated up frozen stuff from Costco.

Tuesday I had breakfast for Lunch. Wednesday will be with a group, so will have lunch for Lunch.
Tue was Grits for breakfast with friends, PB&J sandwich, Dinner was Chick-Fl-A, Wed I think will be a PB&Nanna sandwich with a wild buch of friends!
No idea. There are no leftovers and not much in refer. So we make that call at 11:45 if I am lucky.
Bought a chicken at Sprouts last night, will cut it up and make a salad for lunch. Dogs will get to split a chicken thigh.

This morning, I made a pumpkin & tofu curry with black lentils. Gotta celebrate my birthday somehow!! YUM!! #VeggiesRule

@tohar1

/giphy happy birthday
@chienfou Thank You! I appreciate it!
@tohar1

Huh, I didn’t expect the gif to be so small!
@Kyeh You know what they say, “It’s not the size of the gif, it’s what you do with that gif!!”
@tohar1
True!
Grilled cheese and coffee from Starbucks.
Scrambled egg with mushroom on an English muffin.
A fruit parfait and seared scallops with herbed butter.
Nope. They don’t go together, but they sure were delicious.
A Quest protein bar.

A honey crisp apple. Yogurt and granola when I got home.
Monster taco
Containing sliced avocado. Avocado slices are green in color.
Obviously this is a purely Irish food item.
Goodness!! All of this healthy stuff you guys eat!

@Tadlem43 Nor should you feel guilty. Nothing wrong inherently with “real food”.
Plain bagel toasted in my Thrifted Black and Decker toaster oven + cheese and bacon egg bite. Delish!
Broth.
Colonoscopy prep… Yay! You all wanted to know that didn’t you.

@OnionSoup @tohar1
I’m a big fan of cologuard for routine screening…
@chienfou @OnionSoup …but what fun is that? My last round of prep, I lost close to 9-pounds. Clean house is an efficient house they say…
Lunch… I knew I was forgetting something. I guess my lunch will be dinner…
Wait, do I have anything at home to make dinner?
Crap.
Latest lunch? Well, technically I guess it was a brunch, but I consumed an apple, and it was quite satisfying.
